She graduated from UC Davis with High Honors, completed 2 years of Infectious diseases research, before she graduated Magna Cume Laude from The Ohio State University School of Medicine. She then completed her Internal Medicine training and Advanced Dermatology residency at UC Irvine, becoming the Resident Director of Aesthetic & Surgical Dermatology.
