Richard Rothman M.D. PhD, prescribes prescription “injectable” medications such as Wegovy (Semaglutide) and Zepbound (Tirzepatide) or oral appetite suppressant medications such as Phentermine. We also use prescription medications to help control cravings.
The prescription medications are prescribed after a medical visit which includes a rhythm strip EKG, mini-clothes on physical, a medical history and nutritional counseling. Prior authorizations (for patients who qualify) are submitted to obtain insurance coverage for the expensive injectable medications. Monthly follow up visits while losing weight are recommended.
