What these numbers can't tell you

• Owner gender and background come from the American Med Spa Association's owner survey, not from our listings: Google's women-owned badge is optional and most owners never add it, so badge counts are not used.
• Counts are Google Maps listings we classify as med spas, so they include dermatology and plastic surgery practices that offer med spa treatments and exclude spas without a Google listing.
