What published research says
These numbers come from outside sources, not our directory; each one links to its source below.
- Where people get GLP-1s (KFF, Oct–Nov 2025): among adults who have ever taken one, 76% got it from their primary care doctor or a specialist, 17% from an online provider or website, and 9% from a medical spa or aesthetic medical center. [1]
What these numbers can't tell you
- Listings carry their postal city, which can reach beyond city limits, so cities with large postal areas rank higher than their own population supports; we rank only cities of 100,000 or more to limit that.
- Per-capita rates use Census Bureau Vintage 2024 population estimates (July 1, 2024).
- Counts are Google Maps listings we classify as med spas, so they include dermatology and plastic surgery practices that offer med spa treatments and exclude spas without a Google listing.
