Key takeaways
- We could not confirm a published per-syringe price for any under-eye filler product.
- ASPS's $715 average for hyaluronic acid fillers is a national physician fee, not a med spa or under-eye price.
- The Restylane Eyelight label limits treatment to up to 1 mL per side per session.
- Only four fillers carry an FDA-approved under-eye indication; any other filler there is off-label.
- Ask each provider which product, how many mL and what a follow-up session would cost.
Under-eye filler price per syringe
We found no published per-syringe price for under-eye filler to anchor to.
We could not confirm a price for any specific under-eye product on manufacturer or ASPS sources when we checked on 2026-10-20, and Allergan lists no prices on its Juvéderm FAQ — it says pricing varies by the Juvéderm product, the amount used and the provider.
The broadest national reference in our research is the American Society of Plastic Surgeons' cost page, which lists an average of $715 for hyaluronic acid fillers per its latest statistics.
That ASPS figure is a national average physician fee per procedure — typically one syringe — not a med spa price and not an under-eye-specific one.
ASPS also lists $901 for non-hyaluronic acid fillers such as Radiesse and Sculptra, and neither product carries an under-eye approval.

A quote is the number that actually reflects your case, and it is built on the same variables Allergan names: the product, the amount used and the provider.
When a quote is per syringe, the milliliters behind it are the detail that makes two quotes comparable — the amounts the label and the trials use are all written in mL.
How many syringes of under-eye filler do you need?
The amount used is one of Allergan's named price drivers, so volume moves the total alongside the product and the provider.
The Restylane Eyelight label limits treatment to up to 1 mL per side per session; if more correction is needed, the label recommends a follow-up session, because the safety of larger amounts per session has not been established.
In the Eyelight US pivotal trial (333 subjects at 16 centers, 287 treated), the median volume for both under-eye hollows together was 1.2 mL at the initial treatment and 1.0 mL at touch-up.
Across up to 3 treatments, total volume ranged from 0.1 to 6.0 mL, with a mean of 2.6 mL.
Those are figures from one product's study group — not a rule for what your anatomy will take.
One practice's published numbers: in a UK single-practice series of 1,452 tear-trough applications in 583 patients, the mean first-visit volume was 0.34 mL per eye.
The same series found that larger injected volumes were significantly linked to swelling and contour irregularities — volume is a safety variable as well as a price one.
So the syringe question is really a milliliter question.
Before booking, ask how many mL the quote covers, how the syringes on the quote map to that, and what a follow-up session would cost if one is needed.
How under-eye filler prices differ by product
Product choice changes the price — Allergan says pricing varies by the Juvéderm product used — and under the eyes the product also decides whether the use is approved at all.
As of 2026-10-20, four US filler products carry an FDA-approved under-eye (infraorbital hollow) indication: Juvéderm Volbella XC (May 28, 2021; adults over 21), Restylane Eyelight (May 8, 2023), Belotero Balance (+) Lidocaine (September 27, 2023), and RHA Redensity Eye / Eye Lido (May 12, 2026; adults 22 or older).
Fillers FDA-approved for the under-eye hollow
| Product | Maker | Approved | Adults |
|---|---|---|---|
| Juvéderm Volbella XC | Allergan | May 28, 2021 | Over 21 |
| Restylane Eyelight | Galderma | May 8, 2023 | Over 21 |
| Belotero Balance (+) Lidocaine | Merz | September 27, 2023 | Over 21 |
| RHA Redensity Eye / Eye Lido | Teoxane | May 12, 2026 | 22 or older |
Any other filler used under the eyes is off-label — that use is on no current US label for the product.
The fillers without an under-eye approval include Restylane-L, Juvéderm Ultra, Juvéderm Voluma XC, Radiesse, Sculptra and SkinVive, and Radiesse's label adds that its safety and effectiveness in the periorbital (eye) area have not been established.
What off-label use means for safety, and how to pick an injector for this area, is covered in our under-eye filler guide.
We found no published price ranking to separate the four approved products either: we could not confirm a per-syringe price for any specific product when we checked.
The practical comparison is apples to apples — which product each quote assumes, how many milliliters it covers, and the total including a possible follow-up session.

Under-eye filler prices near you
Allergan names the provider as one of its three pricing variables, and with no per-product price we could confirm to check against, the quote in front of you is the real data point.
Take the same list of questions to every consultation: which filler product, whether it is FDA-approved for the under-eye area, how many milliliters the price covers, and what the total would be if a follow-up session is needed.
Maker programs are worth a question too: Galderma's ASPIRE Galderma Rewards program earns points on qualifying Galderma treatments (Restylane, Sculptra and others), and Eyelight is a Restylane product.
FDA calls unintentional injection into a blood vessel the most concerning dermal filler risk: the chance is low, but it can block blood supply and cause tissue death (necrosis), vision abnormalities including blindness, or stroke. Restylane's labels add that rare ischemic events affecting the eye (vision loss) and brain (stroke) have been reported after facial filler treatments, and that in many of the events requiring medical intervention the injection was to the glabella, nose or periorbital area.
Frequently asked questions
How much does under-eye filler cost per syringe?
We could not confirm a published per-syringe price for any specific under-eye filler product — not on manufacturer sites or ASPS — when we checked on 2026-10-20.
The broadest national reference is ASPS's average physician fee of $715 for hyaluronic acid fillers, per its latest statistics; it is a per-procedure fee (typically one syringe), not a med spa price.
Allergan says pricing varies by product, amount and provider, so quotes are the real number.
How much does Restylane under-eye filler cost?
Restylane Eyelight is one of the four fillers with an FDA-approved under-eye (infraorbital hollow) indication — approved May 8, 2023, for improvement of infraorbital hollowing in patients over 21.
We found no published price for it: we could not confirm a per-syringe price for Eyelight or any other under-eye product when we checked.
For scale only, ASPS lists $715 as the national average physician fee for hyaluronic acid fillers — the category Eyelight belongs to.
Ask providers for an Eyelight-specific quote that names the product and the milliliters it covers.
Does under-eye filler cost more than lip filler?
We found no under-eye-specific national average to compare, so the closest national figures are ASPS's: $743 average cost for lip augmentation with filler and $715 for hyaluronic acid fillers overall, per its latest statistics — average physician fees, not med spa prices.
Under-eye amounts are also written in single milliliters: the Restylane Eyelight trial's median initial treatment was 1.2 mL for both hollows together, so the total turns on how much product your treatment takes.
How often will you pay for under-eye filler?
Under-eye filler is a recurring cost for as long as you keep the result.
Allergan's stated duration for Juvéderm Volbella XC under the eyes is "up to 1 year with optimal treatment" — an "up to" upper bound with optimal treatment, not a typical duration or an average.
In the Restylane Eyelight trial, blinded evaluators still rated 63.5% of treated subjects responders at month 12.
Neither figure predicts your own retreatment interval — that depends on the product, your anatomy and the correction you and your provider are after, so it is worth asking how retreatment is priced before you book.
