What percentage of women get Botox?

Women accounted for 9,289,857 (94%) of the 9,883,711 neuromodulator procedures ASPS counted in 2024. [1]

Men accounted for 593,854 (6%) of US neuromodulator procedures in 2024 per ASPS, up 4.3% from 2023. [1]

Ages 40-54 accounted for 5,623,400 neuromodulator procedures in 2024 - 57% of the ASPS total, the largest age group by far. [1]

Ages 55-69 accounted for 2,268,223 neuromodulator procedures (23%) in 2024 per ASPS. [1]

Ages 30-39 accounted for 1,820,496 neuromodulator procedures (18%) in 2024 per ASPS. [1]

Ages 20-29 accounted for only 142,907 neuromodulator procedures (1%) in ASPS's 2024 data, and ages 19 and under for 28,685 (0%). ASPS reported no neuromodulator figure for ages 70+. [1]

ASPS's 2023 release said ages 40-54 accounted for over 56% of neuromodulator injections in 2023, while the 20-29 and 30-39 age groups each grew more than 8% and male neuromodulator patients grew 5%. [2]

In a September 2025 Pew Research Center survey of 8,750 US adults, 5% said they had gotten nonsurgical cosmetic treatments such as Botox, dermal fillers or laser therapies to look younger, and 23% said they had or would consider them. [3]

These numbers come from outside sources, not our directory; each one links to its source below.

• ASPS estimates 9,883,711 cosmetic neuromodulator injection procedures (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Jeuveau, Daxxify combined) were performed in the US in 2024, up 4% from 9,480,949 in 2023; this is the latest year ASPS published a count. [1]
• ASPS reported that neuromodulator injections among male patients rose 65% and dermal fillers among male patients rose 70% between 2019 and 2022. [4]

What these numbers can't tell you

• Counts are Google Maps listings we classify as med spas, so they include dermatology and plastic surgery practices that offer med spa treatments and exclude spas without a Google listing.
• A treatment counts when the spa's Google listing or website names it, so a spa with an outdated menu can be over- or under-counted.
• We hold no patient records: every figure describes providers, their listings and their Google reviews, not who gets treated.
